“Guys and Dolls” featured at Feb. 27 Hearts in the Arts Gala at MCC

Reservations are open for the 23rd Annual Hearts in the Arts Gala, sponsored by the McLennan Community College Foundation. This year’s Gala on Feb. 27 features the McLennan Theatre performance of Guys and Dolls. Tickets are $125 each and include drinks and dining at 6 p.m. at the Ball Performing Arts Center and beautiful fountain plaza, followed by the theatre performance beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tables for eight are $1250 and include preferred dinner seating.

The Hearts in the Arts Gala is a celebration of creativity, talent and the educational journey. It is a safe bet that this show-stopping evening will have you humming along to unforgettable tunes like “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat,” – all while supporting an ace of a cause.

The production, directed by Kelly Parker and choreographed by Joe Taylor, will feature elaborate costuming and sets to immerse the audience in this timeless musical. Honorary Hearts in the Arts Chairs Alethea and Piers Bateman will host the evening.

Hearts in the Arts is an affinity group of the MCC Foundation that supports the arts at MCC. All proceeds from the Gala event benefit MCC scholarships and special projects advancing visual and performing arts students and faculty.
